The Department of Chemistry at Bath has a vacant fixed-term Computational/Physical Chemistry Lectureship position (teaching only), available from September 2024 to August 2025, to cover a member of staff supported through a secondment. 

The position will require the supervision of undergraduate laboratory classes.

The role carries a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to play a proactive and creative role in developing teaching activities in the department. 

This role is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis until 31st August 2025.

About you:

The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver teaching material and assess and mark coursework. 

The successful applicant will have a proven record of high-quality teaching in chemistry.  

Applicants will normally be expected to have some teaching experience and a PhD in a relevant area. 

The ability to teach both physical and computational chemistry is essential.
